#MondayDevastation Lake Tahoe Faces All-Time Crisis
The water levels at Lake Tahoe are dangerously low! Fueled largely because of climate change, Lake Tahoe has experienced water levels dipping below the lake's natural rim. The water levels fell below the rim six times during the 1930s but did not occur again until 1961. Once again in 1977, followed by one time in 1988. This has happened NINE times since! Six times since 2004. It is clear that climate change is not going anywhere and the ramifications of such a crisis will leave its impact everywhere. But that does not mean we should not continue to do our part in averting the worst that climate change has to offer.
